01Do not
- Break the law, or help someone else break it, including sanctions and export rules.
- Attack, overload, scan or probe the Service, or use it to attack or probe third-party systems (for example by pointing resolution, monitoring or webhooks at hosts you are not allowed to test).
- Get around rate limits, allowances, plan limits or access controls, create accounts to multiply free allowances, or share or resell API keys without a written agreement.
- Submit malware, or content that infringes others' rights, or personal data you have no right to process.
- Use evidence results to harass, stalk, discriminate against, or unlawfully profile people.
- Present results as a DID.is rating, certification or endorsement, or imply a partnership with DID.is that does not exist.
- Publish a Discover listing for an identifier you do not control, or with misleading text.
02Fair use of the free tier
Public resolution is free so that anyone can check evidence. Automated, high-volume or commercial use belongs on a project API key under a plan. We may throttle traffic that degrades the Service for others.
03Enforcement
We may remove content, revoke keys, throttle, suspend or close accounts that break this policy, proportionate to the problem and, where reasonable, after a warning. Report abuse to [email protected] and security issues to the same address with the subject “Security”.
